Our 4th-grade class is participating in a Walking Party on Project Zero’s Out of Eden Learn platform. Students are given assignments to follow called Footsteps, and the first Footstep had asked students to introduce themselves to each other and to describe what about Paul’s walk they found exciting or interesting. Since we’ve been following along since the beginning of school, I asked students to write and draw about something that is meaningful to them about Paul’s journey so far; thus, the two pieces of artwork.
The photo was taken in response to another Footstep assignment, which invites students to go on a neighborhood walk, slow down, and take a photo of something that is interesting to them and captures their attention.
