Yesterday, Paul took his first steps on the trail since last winter, heading out into the Caucasian dawn with Central Asia on the horizon. To send him off, I asked our international community of Out of Eden Walk followers to submit scenes from their neighborhoods, in the style of Glances videos from Paul’s Milestones. The results were impressive — dozens of glimpses of ordinary life from around the world. Here’s a small selection:

To send him off, I asked our international community of Out of Eden Walk followers to submit scenes from their neighborhoods, in the style of Glances videos from Paul’s Milestones. Dust, sweat, and goats on a farm in New South Wales, Australia
The violet hour in Perth, Australia
Prairie grass illuminated, Minnesota
The indefinable moment when summer shifts to fall, in Sweden
Dusk at Nigatsu temple, Japan
Women slow dance in a New Delhi temple, India
A musical downpour in Chennai, India
