As part of our ongoing effort to share our decade-long storytelling trek across the Earth in real time, we have added an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feature that allows readers to receive my dispatches and other tales from the global walking trail as soon as they’re posted online.
To sign up, you’ll need to access an RSS feed reader for your computer or smart phone. A variety of news aggregators are available for free online, some Web-based and some built in to your browser or email software. The exact process for subscribing will vary depending on which feed reader you choose, but in most cases you’ll want to access the Out of Eden Walk feed’s URL from within your reader software:
Follow these links for instructions to sign up using three popular reader options: Feedly (a Web-based service that also offers a mobile app), Safari, or Microsoft Outlook.
Once you’ve completed the subscription process, you’re off and walking. Out of Eden Walk stories will be delivered to your feed hot off my laptop keyboard from the slopes of the Himalayas, the wild Amur River of Siberia, and beyond. Don’t forget to leave a comment: I read all your notes and respond as often as possible.
